Lu Wine Holder

The Lu Wine Holder is designed as a sculptural object first, while fully integrating function as a wine holder. The piece is built in stainless steel for longevity and precision, paired with a solid wooden base that adds warmth, balance, and contrast.

A small integrated opening at the base allows for a cork or corkscrew, introducing a subtle functional detail within an otherwise minimal form.

It was created with a clear vision: a compact, beautiful piece with strong structural resistance. Something that feels like a work of art, but still serves a purpose in the home.

Its scale is intentionally designed to fit seamlessly into almost any apartment. It can live on the floor as a sculptural object or on a kitchen counter as a functional accent. The goal was not to create something large or imposing, but something that quietly elevates a corner of the home into a more intentional space.

Named after my grandmother, Lu, this piece was developed as an alternative to the traditional bar cart.

With this in mind, our engineering team developed a structure that minimizes material waste while maintaining strength, stability, and durability.

The design was engineered to ship flat, reducing logistical complexity and lowering shipping costs as much as possible. We believe beautiful design and thoughtful production should not come at the expense of the client. It takes less than 5 minutes to build.
